In Ambiguous Sight

Linda Gallery, Singapore - 18 April – 31 May 2015

On the afternoon of April 18th, 2015, artist Cai Lei’s solo exhibition “In Ambiguous Sight” was opened at the 798 Linda Art Center in Beijing. The exhibition featured the latest 14 artworks, curated by curator Bao Dong. In his latest series, Cai uses reak materials more extensively. Without using base and frame, which are the basic elements of easel art, he shows the inner structure of his work to the audience, turning the exhibition area to a part of his sculpture. These work are close to real experience and slightly exaggerative, making themselves, parts of buildings, be independent.
