Échelle des plans

“Échelle des plans” is a film term, which literally translates to “the scale of the images.” In the film, shots are usually divided into long shots, full shots, medium shots, and close-ups. Through these conscious divisions, the film takes on its own visual space, psychological space, and narrative traits. The exhibition consists of five separate small spaces from the first floor to the second floor. The use of a variety of media including cement, linen, leather, etc., different textures and spatial construction, has formed Cai Lei’s experimental sculpture creation.
